The Barrier Reef development team is headed by Diversified Real Estate Concepts, LLC. under the creative leadership of its President and sole owner, Michael Scott Peterson. Over the past 20 years, he has completed many of the Midwest’s most acclaimed residential, resort and commercial developments, including more than 1,200 condominiums in award-winning communities.

Michael Scott Peterson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing and Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis, under the direction of the late Professor James Graaskamp. He also served as an instructor at Madison Business College, teaching courses in Business Law, Real Estate Law and Management Principles.
